Gears come in all forms from tiny gears and pinions used in toys and watches, to those used in heavy earth moving/off road equipment.
At Process Gear, gear making is considered both a science and an art. Decades of experience in this industry has enabled us to build a strong knowledge base on how to manufacture gears in the most consistent, reliable and cost-effective manner
The manufacturing of gears can be performed through either material forming processes or material removal processes. Our expertise lies in the latter. We purchase bar stock or forgings and essentially “generate” the gear through a number of processes such as shaping, hobbing, shaving, drilling and grinding.
